A day spent with others in quiet reflection, prayer or meditation. After a cup of cofee, introductions and a short Bible study there is an extended period of quiet. Lunch is provided and not eaten in silence. The pattern is repeated in the afternoon whch ends with a cuppa at 3.30. Maximum attendance of 12 each time. Small donations are welcome towards the cost of food, but not essential. December’s is with a special Advent focus.
The Trendlewood Prayer Meeting happens on the last Thursday of the month 8.30-9.30 at Paul and Caroline’s.

Andy’s is a monthly all-age congregation run jointly by Trendlewood Church and St Andrew’s, Backwell, taking it in turns to be responsible for the service. It is a lively morning with a cafe running throughout. There are usually about 50 attendees with many children under 11. Normal services at St Andrew’s & Trendlewood as usual.
Like a book club only with Bible books, or in the case of the longer books, sections. Meet in the pub for an hour’s chat over a drink. Next topic Genesis 1-11.
The Trendlewood Church Council are the trustees of the Church. They meet regularly to stay on top of the church vision, teaching and outreach programme, pastoral care, finances, safeguarding and special events. The Vicar is the Chair of the Council and Sarah Bird the Secretary.
