Good Afternoon Everyone,
It was a joy to be back at the school again for worship. Singing ‘Thine be the Glory’ in the open air is a thing many churches seem to have picked up on this this year. Thanks to all who helped set up. Printable Church News for April attached.

Nailsea Methodist Church
Kirsty co-,leader of Last Sunday, has been accepted for ordination training in the Methodist Church. A cause for much rejoicing, although we will all miss her presence here.
This creates a vacancy for a families’ worker at Nailsea and Backwell Methodists. The deadline for applications is April 18th. I have details.
The Bath and Wells weekly email is available on this link, including an Easter message from Bishop Peter.
Thank you Cards
One of our cards was sent to the Woodspring Ramblers, thanking them for all the work they do maintaining local footpaths. They emailed the church to say how touched they were to have their work recognised. If you want to send a Trendlewood thank-you card to a community or individual here do ask me for one. I’ll bring the box to church on Sunday.
A message from Simon and Lindsay:
‘Last week we had a good introductory meeting via zoom with the Church Wardens from Wraxall and Failand Churches. There was good communication but a few areas we need to work on. We would appreciate your prayers for God’s guidance and wisdom.
‘We would like to thank those who have contributed their thoughts on what qualities they would like to see in our new vicar. We were very impressed with the input Pauline kindly collated and sent to them. This will prove very useful as our Parish Profile continues to take shape.
‘If anyone still wants to contribute any further ideas/thoughts in this connection, please email them to Pauline who will be happy to pass them on.
‘Many thanks for your help. It is much appreciated.’
