Good Afternoon Everyone,
We are still working our way though new government and church guidelines. These are constantly being updated so this email represents our best thinking on what we are allowed to do on Sundays.
It was good to welcome Michelle back from holiday today but whilst she was away her Greek island holiday destination became subject to quarantine. You will not see her out and about for two weeks but she will be available to chat.
Look out for a second email today with a copy of our Church Annual Report (2019 – delayed). Sarah wanted it sent separately so it didn’t get lost in the weekly mayhem.

Morning Prayer at 9.00 a.m. by Zoom next week will be on Monday and Wednesday.
This week’s Sunday service will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel on Sunday morning at 10.15 a.m. The YouTube link will be:
I will be speaking on coping with Messiness – Why the church makes progress when things are out of our control. The passage will be 2 Corinthians 4:1-18
There will be some extra resources for children on the website.
After the service there will be Zoom coffee as usual, at 11.30. Michelle will host. The new guidelines mean that, sadly, we cannot invite those who have not been at the service to meet for social time in the school grounds afterwards.
Sunday 27th September will be a pre-recorded service and then October 4th will be live. If you would like to be a guest on 4/10 (which will feel a bit like being in the audience at a TV recording) please book in with Michelle (for track and trace purposes) and she will issue guidance regarding safety protocols.
Home Group Co-ordinator
Michelle is going to take on the home group co-ordination for the next few months. Leaders – she’ll be in touch with you.
Connect, the Bath and Wells Diocesan email update is available on this link.
We recently received a payment from Easy Fundraising through the efforts of some members of the congregation shopping online and registering to donate to the church. Signing up is easy and it costs nothing. Just set up an account and nominate Trendlewood Church as your charity. Every time you shop online we get a small donation. We’ve received £75 so far.
The Church Council have fixed our annual meeting for Sunday 25th October. It will be online. For members of our church who have not been involved in our online activities we encourage you to pair up with someone who has so you can join in this important meeting from their home.
