Rector’s reflections…is on it’s summer break

As a slight change from the regular reflections I have suggested a word for the week.

Perhaps take a few moments to stop – read – pause – think and pray – asking the Lord what are you saying for myself and the church this week.

Click on the verse above if you want to read the whole chapter.  Blessings, Morey

Nailsea Skate Fest last Saturday

What a brilliant event and so many folk came down to support this annual event in its 20th year. Interviewed by Nailsea People, Phil Williams (Organiser) said , “I … believe that as a person of faith God loves skate park users as much as anybody else in the world, and having a faith is key at these challenging times for so many people.”  Read more and see some great pics of the event here. Many Trendlewood Church members have been long time supporters of this event – thank you.

The Ayo Family are coming to see us – Sunday 7th August

If you were impressed that West End Impact travelled 200 miles to see us, then you’ll be over the moon to know that the Ayo family from Tanzania are speaking at our Sunday Service on 7th August.  Much has changed for our mission partners as they continue to work with communities in new and exciting ways.  Look forward to hearing more from them

Meet the Bishop

Trendlewood Church is an Church of England church and part of the Diocese of Bath and Wells.  Bishop Michael has recently been appointed as the Bishop of Bath and Wells – he can’t possibly meet everyone so has done a little introduction video below.  During September and October, Bishop Michael will be getting to know the Diocese  before being installed as Bishop in the Cathedral on Saturday November 12th at 3pm.
